and the beast had four faces.
as she stepped back and eyed it, appraised it —
a merchant assigning value to vacant stock.  

"if the price is right, the buyer is too,"
we are working in a world of prospectives.
And for each head, each new perspective.  

"we're all monsters," she said.
— how is this any different?
"i am vacant by my own hand."  

("this is my vice, but dammit it's all mine"
would have sufficed)  

but sufficient is not sufficient,
to be had, one must be chosen.
to be had, one must be bought.  

fraud sells.
