			James Steidle has made numerous trips to Takla Lake, once in a wooden boat he constructed with a childhood friend that took leaks and almost sank. They patched it up with tree sap. He has recently completed research for the Takla Lake Band on the contamination and remediation of the Silvacan Sawmill.
